The Seahorse Sanctuary is an Australian aquaculture facility that has been breeding and selling seahorses for 10 years.

By successfully breeding seahorses and supplying pet stores and marine aquarium wholesalers, Seahorse Sanctuary is making a contribution to the global effort to conserve wild seahorse populations.

Every year wild seahorses are taken from our oceans to provide pets to the marine aquarium industry. What isn’t widely known is that very few wild seahorses survive captivity.

The Seahorse Sanctuary is forging a new industry in cutting edge aquaculture technology to provide seahorses that are adapted to survive and thrive as pets in home aquaria.

Our seahorses are supplied direct to petstores all around Australia, and are exported to marine aquarium wholesalers around the world.
