Seahorse Sanctuary bred seahorses and supplied pet stores and marine aquarium wholesalers, making a contribution to the global effort to conserve wild seahorse populations.
Every year wild seahorses are taken from our oceans to provide pets to the marine aquarium industry. What isn’t widely known is that very few wild seahorses survive captivity.
Seahorses were supplied direct to petstores all around Australia, and exported to marine aquarium wholesalers around the world.
